Kragerup Gods
Welcome to Kragerup Gods
Welcome to My Home
It brings me joy every day to welcome guests to our historic main building. The oldest part of the house is the vaulted cellar from 1610, the central house was rebuilt in 1801, and the side wings were added in 1838 and 1840. The estate’s farm buildings have been restored and are now converted into rooms, conference, and event spaces. The restoration began in 1998, and we continuously find new uses for our old buildings.
My mother, Birgitte Dinesen, is the 8th generation and has been running Kragerup since 1986, the first 12 years alongside her father until he retired in 1998. She then started the hotel with six bed-and-breakfast rooms, which has since developed into a 4-star hotel and conference venue with 57 rooms and a large activity park. I am the 9th generation and have been involved from the beginning, working as a dishwasher, waiter, climbing instructor, event manager in the activity park, and marketing manager. In 2021, I proudly took over the title of estate owner and managing director with confidence and enthusiasm!
I hope you will enjoy our beautiful old house, the food at Restaurant Blixen, and being active in nature with your colleagues, friends, or family.
