Anders Didrich Dinesen (1798-1840) was born on September 5, 1798, at Gyldenholm Estate. He was the son of the first Dinesen of Kragerup Estate, Jens Kraft Dinesen (1768-1827), and Johanne Ulrica Birgitte Christine Gøring (1774-1829).
Anders graduated as a student in 1816 and completed a law degree in 1820. In 1823, he was appointed as a clerk in the Copenhagen Police Court. After his father's death in 1827, he inherited Kragerup Estate and took over its administration. On April 4, 1829, he married Sophie Jacobine de Neergaard (1810-1857), with whom he had three children.
He established the family coat of arms in 1829, which is still in use today. Between 1838 and 1840, he began the renovation of the estate’s main building and the existing side wings.
Anders passed away on June 12, 1840, at the age of 42, leaving behind his wife and three children. His eldest son and heir to Kragerup Estate, Jens Kraft Jacob Sophus Dinesen (1830-1910), was only 10 years old at the time and thus too young to take over the management of the estate. Consequently, Anders' widow, Sophie, took over the administration following his death. She was skilled and active, constructing new farm buildings, clearing some forest, and establishing the outlying farm Rugskov.
