Johan Ulrik Peter Vilhelm Dinesen

Johan Ulrik Peter Vilhelm Dinesen (1832-1874) was born on February 16, 1832, at Kragerup Estate and was the son of Anders Didrich Dinesen (1798-1840) and Sophie Jacobine de Neergaard (1810-1857).

At the age of 19, in 1850, Johan became a cadet and served in the infantry, participating in the war of 1864. He was promoted to second lieutenant in 1865. In the same year, he also purchased Søholm in Gentofte.

He married his cousin Alvilde Dinesen (1841-1893) in 1863. Together they had five children, including their son Axel Wilhelm Dinesen.

Johan passed away on September 25, 1874, at Kragerup Estate, leaving behind his wife, who later married his brother Jens Kraft Jacob Sophus Dinesen (1830-1910). Johan is buried at Ørslev Cemetery.
