Mogens Vilhelm Dinesen ENG

Mogens Vilhelm Dinesen (1899-1954) was born on June 18, 1899, at Gl. Wiffertsholm and graduated from Rungsted in 1918. He was the son of Axel Wilhelm Dinesen (1865-1932) and Ida van Deurs (1868-1964), and the brother of Jørgen Eigil Wiffert Dinesen. Mogens was unmarried and had no children. He initially leased the main estate of Skjørringe Gods, which he acquired as property on July 1, 1939.

Mogens served as the chairman of the Lolland-Falster Belgian Horse Breeders Association in 1930 and was a member of the representative body for the Sugar Factory in Nykøbing as well as a board member of the Maribo County Economic Society.

Mogens passed away on July 22, 1954, at Skjørringe and was buried at the family gravesite at Ørslev Cemetery, alongside his parents. After his death, Skjørringe was inherited by his brother's son, Anders Wilhelm Dinesen (1933-2005).
