Kragerup Gods

Salonen ENG

Birgitte Dinesen, the 8th generation of the Dinesen family at Kragerup Estate, shares memories about salonen:

"In the old days, the room was divided into a living room and four children's rooms, where my two sisters, Anne and Charlotte, and I lived during our childhood. My daughter Regitze also had a room in one of them. In the past, there was a spiral staircase leading up to a tower room in the attic where a maid lived. Although the staircase no longer exists, the room still remains 'a bit ghostly' intact in the attic. Next to the conference room 'Herreværelset,' there is a trapdoor to the attic, from where one can see the room in the attic as well as the large tower clock, which people used to wind up daily."

Salonen is located on the first floor in the left wing of the main building and serves as a beautiful, inviting, and spacious conference room. Salonen offers views of the park, the moat, and the elegant white bridge. The room is L-shaped, furnished with a conference table and a cozy sofa group. Modern AV equipment is available for an excellent conference experience.
