Kragerup Go Bounce Trampoline Park
Birgitte Dinesen, the 8th generation of the Dinesen family at Kragerup Estate, shares the story behind Kragerup Go Bounce:
"In 2019, the Kragerup Go High climbing park turned 10 years old, and I felt that something new was missing in the activity park. So, I Googled 'fun and games in the trees' and ended up on a Welsh website."
"On my birthday, January 12, 2018, my daughter Regitze, Event Manager Simon, Jon Eriksen from Rope Reach, and I went to Wales. We visited Zip World Forest in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park."
"’Best idea ever,’ I quickly decided and tried the net trampoline park myself, followed by an XL jump with a free fall, which Kragerup now also features."
"When we returned home, we immediately started planning. The task was to be completed by Rope Reach and Kragerup together. The challenge was that none of us had done anything like this before."
"We had to create net boxes connected by walkways, but none of us knew much about nets. Jon then contacted old fishermen in Thyborøn, who taught us the old fishing craft of tackling and net-making. After 4 months of work, we were ready to open Denmark's first trampoline park on May 31, 2019."
"The long net walkways lead you over lakes and water to a universe of 7 net boxes 2 to 8 meters up in the treetops. Here, there are also Tarzan ropes, net slides, and two platforms where you can take a break, play games, and tie knots. The net boxes offer the experience of jumping on a trampoline and provide fun exercise and a motor skills challenge."
"With Kragerup Go Bounce, the activity park gained another new attraction to its wide range of nature activities, where everyone can be active and have fun."
"I wish you a great time and ask that you be considerate of each other – big and small alike."
